RSS Feeds from Take Control @ KIMBERLY-CLARK PROFESSIONAL*
By subscribing to our RSS feed, it will allow you to stay up to date when we add new Knowledge Point and Latest News articles on an ad hoc basis.
What are RSS feeds?
RSS ('Really Simple Syndication') feeds allow you to see when websites have added new content as soon as it has been published, the feeds themselves are just web pages, designed to be read by computers rather than people.
What do I do to get started?
There are a few ways to add and view RSS feeds:
One option is to add an RSS feed through Microsoft Outlook 2007
- On the Tools menu, click Account Settings.
- On the RSS Feeds tab, click New.
- In the New RSS Feed dialog box, copy and paste in this URL www.kcptakecontrol.com/uk/rss.
- Click Add.
- Click OK.
Another option is to add an RSS feed through your browser such Windows Internet Explorer 7 and above or Mozilla Firefox 3 and above.
- Vist this page www.kcptakecontrol.com/uk/rss.
- Click the subscribe button or link within your browser window.
Alternatively, if you do not have Internet Explorer 7, or above or Mozilla Firefox 3 or above, you will need to use something called a news reader.
This is a piece of software that checks the feeds and lets you read any new articles that have been added to our Knowledge Point section or in Latest News .
There are many different versions of news readers, some of which are accessed using a web browser, and some of which are downloadable applications. Browser-based news readers let you catch up with your RSS feed subscriptions from any computer, whereas downloadable applications let you store them on your main computer.
Different news readers work on different operating systems, so you will need to choose one that will work with your computer.
Once you have chosen a news reader, you then drag the orange button on this site into your news reader or some may require you to drag or copy and paste the URL into a new feed in your news reader.
